Try to get the lastest client code 3.1.0.7 (or wait some days
for something better). It has a solution for your problem. The
problem is in the client, not in the server.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the input.

My ADSM client version is 3.1.20.6 and I have upgraded my server to
3.1.2.20
 AIX version is 4.3.2

The problem remains unresolved.

I tried:
a> stopsrc -s automountd
b> runnig dsm.
Result: /usr is still not visible...

How do I disable automounter? (I tried haashing the /u entry in
/etc/auto.master too without any result).

PL. HELP . URGENT...

Regards,
Sumitro.

You did not write, which client version you are using.
If you have an older client, and automounter enabled on /u, then
this problem can occur.
Solution: use latest client/fixes or disable automounter.

Hi All,
I just did a default installation of ADSM 3.1.2.0 server on an AIX 4.3
box
(S7A).
After running dsm on this system, I click on the "+" on local.
I see all the filesystems like "/", "/tmp", "/var" etc.. but NO "/usr".
Infact there are other filesystems like "/usr/sap/PRD" etc also which are
not visible.
All these directories(filesystems actually) starting with /usr are not
visible on the dsm screen.

I tried creating new test filesystems and they are also visible under
dsm.

I HAVENOT made any include-exclude lists nor did I make any changes in
default management class, policy etc..

PL. let me know what's going on???

Thanks in advance
