Jie,
is dsm.opt file you can specify the "DateFormat 1|2|3|4|5" you want.
Just use the right (or the same) value on both clients/servers. See the
manule "Installing the Clients" at:
http://www.storage.ibm.com/software/adsm/pubs/v3pubs/aix/html/adsm.htm
and read the note about AIX platform ...
