Hello,

I am new to this list so please forgive me if this has been covered before
or for any lapse in my sanity.

The TCP address for our MVS server will be changing (due to a migration to
another server). The client options file will need to be changed for all
clients to reflect this change. Our ADSM administrator had attended a
seminar recently where it was mentioned that ADSM at the server could
house/store a default or central client configuration file that could be
used by the client computers. If this functionality exists, it would be a
good solution for changing the TCP address without having to visit each
client computer and changing it manually.

I have checked white papers, knowledge base, red books but have not found
anything yet that would describe step-by-step how to do this. In the Red
book ADSM Version 3 Technical Guide, they begin to describe this function
but never go into all the options that are available to the administrator.
Is there any documentation on all the options that are available and how to
step-by-step set this up via the ADSM Server Administrator Web browser?

Our system is ADSM for MVS Version 3, Release 1, Level 2.20.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Damian Ryan
