Considering the number of platforms the Client/Server/ConnectAgents run on,
it is
difficult to assume that something like an auto-updater will ever happen.

Things to think about...

..What happens if your server is up and active...
..do you auto-update in the middle of a DBBackup?
..do you auto-update in the middle of a DRM Prpare/Export?
..what if the DB structs change (dsmserv upgradedb)?
..what if Web UI's IDL scripts change? (dsmserv runfile dsmserv.idl)
..how does one recover if it fails? RESTORE DB to the last BACKUPFULL that
was done
   a month ago?

Great Idea..but wishful thinking...
