Yes, I configured a beta site with WindowsNT V3.1.2.20 and a 3494.  It works
great.

You need to disable the IBM Library Autochanger service and let adsmscsi.sys
do the library management, just as you would a tape drive.  You will have to
reboot after disabling that service.

If you still have trouble inside ADSM, try using lbtest in the utils
directory to troubleshoot your library configuration.  The directions are in
the back of the IBM SCSI Tape Installation and Users Guide.
