The ADSM Version 3.1.2.40  AIX and MSV servers are now available on the
Anonynous FTP site. These replaces the pulled back 3.1.2.30. We will put updates
out as we stage the HP, SUN, and N/T servers to the site.

   Special notes for AIX Server. See the  .message file and/or the svcindex.html
   file for PTF descriptions etc.
   For MVS the instructions below must be followed:

    ADSM for MVS server level 3.1.2.40 is available by ordering

the following PTF's UQ32815, UQ32816, UQ32817, UQ32818, UQ32819,

UQ32820, UQ32821, UQ32822 and UQ32823.


ADSM server for MVS service level 3.1.2.40 PTF's are also available in

a password protected directory at...

  service2.boulder.ibm.com/storage/adsm/fixes/v3r1/mvssrv/LATEST.SERVICE/service

With the userid   tsm4mvs   you will be prompted for a password.
You can obtain the password for access to this site by contacting

IBM service.




If your Web Browser has trouble giving you access to the /service

directory using http syntax try one of the following ftp commands.

With the following syntax you will be prompted for the password.



ftp://tsm4mvs AT service2.boulder.ibm DOT 
com/storage/adsm/fixes/v3r1/mvssrv/LATEST.SERVICE/service





With the following ftp syntax you can include the password in the ftp

command by replacing "password" with the secured password.



ftp://tsm4mvs:password AT service2.boulder.ibm DOT 
com/storage/adsm/fixes/v3r1/mvssrv/LATEST.SERVICE/service
