My customers use SQL Backtrack with Oracle (they start using it before
we had the connect agents). They really happy with it, it's very
reliable.

Regarding Informix - you don't have to use any connect between ADSM and
Informix. Since Informix is X/open you can use the 'Informix OnBar' for
online backups.
