It's certainly a solid approach...but beware the time required.
Export-Import is a high-level, portable operation and as such is
much slower than physical backups.  Expect it to take some 8 hours
to reinstate the filespace for a large file system.  And, of course,
this is just reinstating the filespace within the ADSM server, and
does not include the further step of restoring the file system to
the owning client disk.
