Hello Ginny
IBM fixed this with one of the mid level ver 3 clients. I believe either
.3 or .5 ptf level. The latest is .7 with a .7+ fixtest in the works.
But even thought the version 3 clients fix many things, there are some
new and improved bugs added and maybe fixed at the different ptf levels.
Andy of IBM (aka storman) may give us the latest word on the "best"
ptf level.

My favorite new bug is the partial unicode support. If you have
a windows nt server with filenames from mac's or more then one
code page, then one can have problems. The client readme file
calls for using a different client with different options for
each lang set. The problem is that the users do not seem to
let one know that have put mixed sourced files out there.
Last year IBM reported that the rewrite to convert all of the
window nt client to full unicode support was on the drawing boards.
