We've only had our STK 9714 since last December and haven't had anything
changed since then. Is it likely that this new a library will need
the power supply update - how do you tell ?

The library firmware is 1.8.05 .
I'm not sure how to determine the drive firmware - do you know ?

After trying various things yesterday, we put the scsi connection
back the way it was when the library wasn't being recognised and
this time it saw it OK. But we now have seen another I/O error
on 1 drive and and a changer error preventing mounts into the
other drive.

Any advice gratefully received.
