Hi,

our ADSM server (3.1.2.20, AIX 4.2.1) just crashed with lots of the
following messages in the activity log:

ANR9999D pkshmem.c(309): Invalid attempt to free memory;
                       called from 1042A2B4 (tcpSendSSL).

I was just defining new volumes to the tape stgpools using the
web administrative interface with HTTPS.
I also discovered that the server started using a huge amount of
cpu time a few days ago. The average cpu load was 30% user and
70% system time. The dsmserv process took more than 9100 cpu
minutes. After the restart everything seems to be fine again.
The cpu load decreased to 4% user, 3% system, and 6% wait.

Is this a known error and is there a fix available or shall I open
a PMR with IBM?

Regards,
