If you specify the old nodename in the dsm.sys file, then no, ADSM will not
do a full backup, it will just do a typical incremental. If, however, you
use the new node name, either explicitly or by default, then yes it will
backup everything. Of course, you won't be able to backup that new
nodename at all unless it is registered.

I'd think that'd depend on whether the new name was registered or
not (if not, I'd expect there to be an error), and whether the
Nodename was being determined by the default (hostname) or set
explicitly.
But I've never actually tried this, so don't know for sure.
