One of my users had the following question.
>
>What I need to know is how I should handle Macintosh files with umlauts,
>Greek characters, accents, &c. in the file names if they are stored on an
>NT node. The 3.1.20 readme says, on the one hand, that if you have such
>characters, you should set "USEUNICODEFILENAMES NO" in dsm.opt. On the
>other hand, it then says that if you have a Mac volume you must set
>"USEUNICODEFILENAMES YES". As it is, I have Mac files *with* these extended
>characters throughout an NTFS volume and the file names are being munged
>when they are backed up and restored. Have I misread this in thinking that
>setting "USEUNICODEFILENAMES YES" (to handle the Mac files) will prevent
>the extended characters in those Mac files from being handled properly?

>Thanks for the help.
