You didn't mention the version of NetWare you are using, but you can specify
volinformation with a selective Archive command and any incremental which
does not target the entire volume. An incremental command issued against as
entire volume will implicitly backup the root level information.
Volinformation: Backs up or restores volume restrictions such as volume or
disk space restrictions and trustee directory assignments for the root
directory or a volume.
Load dsmc sys:\data -volinfo
Load dsmc sys: (implied)
