There is an ADSM Client for Linux - believe it or not.

Go to this ADSM website: http://www.storage.ibm.com/software/adsm/adsercli.htm
Scroll down to the client code section. You will be able to download a tar 
file. It should
be noted that IBM does not support this code - but it is available to play with.
