We run Oracle under SAP, on NT. We do ONLINE (I believe that's not same as
incremental),
backups, and then backup the archive logs. This allows us to have a bigger
window, as
we don't have to take systems down. We do a full offline bu on week-ends.
I've never
had any problem restoring, and applying the archive logs. We use the
SAP/ADSM interface
called backint.WE also bu to disk then later to tape (then again for the
OFFISTE tape).
