And I have clients are version 3 and 2.


What is the good point to upgrade server to 3.1.2.1?
Can I skip version 3.1.2.1 and waiting to another new version
coming? What is different between V3.1.2.1 and V3.1.2.0?
>> It is best to upgrade server to latest fix level 3.1.2.x (last time I
went to the fixtest dir, it showed 20) if you want to. Basically, I think
3.1.2.0 is OK.  V3.2.1.2 suppports some newer device like IBM's 8x optical
drives in the 3995 jukebox where V3.1.2.0 doesn't and may fix some of the
bugs in V3.1.2.0. However, ought to be careful with V3.1.2.1 as I remember
it has some inventory expiry problem when it first came out.


Do I need upgrade all the clients to version 3.1.2.1?

Does ADSM version 3.1.2.0 is y2k compliant? How about version 3.1.2.1?
>> Yes. You can go to this page (where I forget its URL at the moment, any
help out there?) where it has a report generator on verifying the IBM's
products Y2K readiness. You just input the product number, name, version
and some required info.
