TCPIP erros ANS1017E

ADSM server 3.1.1.3  AIX 4.2.
All of a sudden this weekend one sp frame is getting TCPIP errors
zero byte buffer read
sessRecvVerb error -50 readrtn
ANS1017e

As I write this I am backing up the sp node and I can see it goes so far and 
that just goes into a wait

My commtimeout is set at 1200 and idletimeout is 60
