I don't think there's a fix for this problem as of yet. There were good
suggestions to maybe prevent the problem from reoccuring. That is
by increasing your BufPoolsize. If you have not done so yet, go check
the following site--it will provide you additional info:

Oh dear! We were getting the same BUF043 errors and were told it was
database corruption caused by moving data from one sequential access
media to another often. 3.1.2.20 was supposed to fix this! Have you
done an AUDIT DB after upgrading to 3.1.2.20? If you hear anything
else about this, please let me know.

Hello Everyone. I'm beginning to wonder if ADSM think its
my baby. I took off one day and ADSM crashed on me.
The dsmserv.err contained the following entries:

   05/12/1999 23:58:03 ANR7838S Server operation terminated.
   05/12/1999 23:58:03 ANR7837S Internal error BUF043 detected.

   We're at AIX 4.3.2.0 and ADSM 3.1.2.20
Has anyone experienced same and knows the cause? Any fixes?

   Aloha,
