Hi Gail,

in my opinion it's a very precise way to run the audit as a preview online
(from the command line issue >audit db).

Also you would find out if the auditdb is really needed.

If you suppose your problem has something to do with your disk storage
pools you might add the parameter: partition=diskstorage to the audit db
command.

If you have to do fixes to your db it's safer to execute the auditdb
offline.
