File retries in DSMSCHED.LOG
1999-05-13 23:18:53
We've set changingretries to 0. I was wondering what else causes retries
when there are no obvious explanations in the DSMSCHED.LOG.
We see this sort of thing, for instance:
Normal File--> 4,662 \\ns600f\c$\WINNT\notes.ini [Sent]
Normal File--> 307,200 \\ns600f\c$\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator\NTUSER.DAT
**unsuccessful Retry # 1 Normal File--> 117,634
\\ns600f\c$\COMPAQ\SURVEY\Survey.TXT [Sent]
Retry # 1 Normal File--> 491,940
\\ns600f\c$\ProgramFiles\pcANYWHERE\DATA\AW.HCF [Sent] Retry # 1
Normal File--> 45,844 \\ns600f\c$\Program Files\Pwrchute\pwrchute.dat
[Sent]
They seem to appear after unsuccessful attempts on other files.
Thanks for any insight!
