Hi Mecki,
I met with another similar case:
This time on a Solaris system there is a schduled incremental hung up,
too.
I killed the "nohup dmsc sched" process and started a "dmsc sched" without
"quiet" and looked at the output.
I give you the last lines
Normal File--> 2,097,152 /var/hpc/rdb-log Changed
Retry # 1 Normal File--> 2,097,152 /var/hpc/rdb-log [Sent]
Normal File--> 22,444 /var/hpc/rdb-save [Sent]
Normal File--> 244,696,868 /var/log/amd.log ** Unsuccessful **
ANS1114I Waiting for mount of offline media.
Retry # 1 Normal File--> 244,696,868 /var/log/amd.log
Well, of course I could exclude /var/log/amd.log, but I thought ADSM would
cope with the situation.
I will repeat the same procedure in the SGI case.
I am a total beginner in ADSM and perhaps I misinterpreted the
documentation.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Dietrich
