Can anyone explain to me the reasoning behind marking a tape "unavailable"
if a request for the tape is cancelled by the system?  These often slip by
unnoticed, so I have to go out every once in a while and check for tapes
erroneously marked "unavailable".  The same thing will happen if the
operators miss a mount request, and it times out.  Here is an example of
what I am talking about from the activity log.  Process 61 that is cancelled
was a reclaimation process that was waiting for the checkin of volume
242531.
