Not a direct answer to your query but.....

We too found the price for ADSM/Backint pretty steep. But, there was a
special going on some time back on the product. Our IBM Business Partner had
quite a time finding that the special actually existed - but it did.
However, I have no idea if its still on.

We got it for Approx R60 000 (Excl).

We have not installed it yet - so there is still all that fun to look
forward to.
