You may also want to include:
       If a Domain statement is listed on the client, but the filesystem is
not mounted or does not exist the backup
   will be marked as failed on the server.

     Described in the Administrator's Reference on page 376ff:

     The only events that are displayed are those that meet one of the
following
     conditions:

     - The scheduled startup window has elapsed and the schedule has not
begun
     execution.

     - The client has notified the server that the scheduled command has
failed
     during execution and all allowed retry attempts have been exhausted.

     - The schedule began, but has not completed execution and the schedule
     period has elapsed since the scheduled start time.

     On the ADSM server there are completed, missed, failes or severed
backup
     schedules. Actually whe have backup schedules that terminate
successfully.
     However on the server there is a failed indication.
     Does a backup which terminates after the backup time window result in
a
     failed backup? Is there a description about the condition for failed
     backups?
