One thing that has been recommended is to use the BA client to periodically
backup the databases.  Then during a DR, you would restore using the BA
client first and then use the agent to bring the databases up to date.  An
implementation we're doing now is going in just like that.  Weekly BA
backups and daily incrementals using the agent.  You can do the BA backups
with Notes running.  Use a management class with a backup copy group
serialization DYNAMIC to do this.  That way you will back up the open
databases immediately.  Notes that are changed while the database is backed
up are potentially hosed, but everything else should be OK.  As always, I
strongly recommend trying this on your own to make sure it works for you.

The key to good DR is planning and practice.
