Another thing you should check is what mode you have the 3570 in...  What you
want is Random mode.  That will allow the library to access any tape in any
order.  It sounds as if you have it set to Automatic mode.  In this mode the
cartridges are processed according to there position.  They are processed
sequentially begining at the rightmost cell position.

Hi There...............

I have a customer whith ADSM NT server 3.1.2.13 connected with a 3570(2
drives). When they run a backup, the same tape gets mounted and dismounted
+/- 15 times; after which it unloads it from the drive and continues doing
the same with the next tape.


Any suggestions.
