Hi There............
I have a customer with ADSM V3.1.2 on OS/390 2.6; a Lotus Notes Agent on NT
2.1.7., and I get the message:
ANR9999D-
SMEXEC(1162)...............................................................
....Server does not support the UNICODE mode that the client was
requesting.
Do I have to upgrade my server or agent?
Have a nice day

This is a side effect of using a version 3 client and a version 2 server.
and not having a nodename parm in the client dsm.opt file.
If you put an Nodename record into the client dsm.opt file the error
message
should not show up.
