Thanks for the information... I think we are going to use the B/A Client
for Notes Template Files.  Just one more question for my own personal
reasons... I know that if you use a wildcard "*" the connect agent won't
backup .ntf files but if you include *.ntf why doesn't that work??

Yes, you are right if you explicitly backup .NTF file, it will let you do
it. However if you use wildcard  " * " to backup every database under notes
data directory, it will not include the .NTF files. I don't see the need to
use the Notes agent to backup Notes template databases since there is no
change to these database. You can use the backup/archive client to backup a
copy of the database since there is no need to backup this kind of database
in document level.

If this is the case, why will the Agent backup a .NTF file if I specify in
in the command?  If I issue this command:

DSMNOTES INCR C:\NOTES\DATA\DOCLIB4.NTF

This is what is put into the log.dsm:

Is this backup any good?? If not shouldn't this backup fail??

Notes agent only backup the .NSF files, not the templates (.NTF ) files.

problem I am having is including all .ntf files...

Hy Rick,

i tried to EXCLUDE (!)  one   .NSF - File with NOTES-Agent 2.1.8A.

There was no way. I tried all ways. Incremental-Backup runs about all or
none of the Files in one Sub-Directory.

I gave up.
