Use also the option T=DBB or T=EXPORT for example.

Hi all,

I need some help in managing EXPORT tapes. We are using EXPORT to archive
our
servers every month. We can't use the real archive funktion because of the
amount of data which would be transfered over the network with every
archive
event. And the database would become very big if we would use this way. So
we
do an export every month to use the data which is already in the ADSM
server.

We use the export funktion for other things, too. E.g. to move data from
one
ADSM server to a second one. After moving the data we don't need this
export
tapes any more. So we want to delete them with the DEL VOLHIST command.
But
how can we protect the export tapes made for the archives?
With DEL VOLHIST you can only define a TODATE option.
