It looks as though you are working with the Notes agent with the $notesdir.
If on your server you have \notedata or just want to backup all m*.nsf files
anywhere, use the

Exclude *:\...\*.*              ***this will exlcude all your files on any 
drives
Exclude *:\*.*

Include *:\...\m*.nsf           *** this will include the nsf files starting 
with m
from all                                                        subdirectories
