Hi everybody,

We are currently in the early stages of implementing the latest version of
ADSM.  Would anyone like to share their pov on archive vs. selective backup
for Oracle databases?  IBM recommends using archive to group the files under
one description for easy identification during a recovery, but I'm aware of
at least one site using selective backup instead of archive.  What are the
pros and cons of each method?
