When the scheduler runs, it creates or appends to a file called c:\program
files\ibm\adsm\baclient\dsmsched.log. This is by default. You can point
the file elsewhere by adding the line
schedlogname c:\wherever
in your dsm.opt file.
Look at the end of this file to see the latest activity. Unless a backup
is currently running, the last few lines of the file will show the next
scheduled operation for that client. If you see something like "No
schedule found", you've found your problem. No schedule, or no association
for that client.
A couple of other lines handy for your dsm.opt file:
errorlogname c:\whereever
schedlogretention 3
errorlogretention 3
The retention parameters dictate how ADSM should prune the logs. These
settings will keep three days worth of information.
