We had a similar problem, although in our case it wasn't the SCSI
cables that got switched, but the serial cables in the 3494. The
results were the same, though. the host would request a tape be
mounted in rmt0, and the 3494 would satisfy the mount request by
putting the tape into what *it* believed to be rmt0, which the
host believed to be rmt1. Since rmt0 never signalled the host
that it was ready at load point (the host would have received
that signal from rmt1), the mount request was never "satisfied."
