Another thought. You should be able to force the drive that is sometimes D:
and sometime E: to be E: (are some other letter) all of the time. If you
open the drive properties box (I'm going from memory here because I don't
have access to a Win95 machine just at the moment) I believe that you can
set the drive letter. Certainly I have gotten into the habit, to avoid
situations like you are having, of making my CD drive always Z:.
