Kelly - I'm not a Digital Unix expert, but these operations are to set
        the send and receive buffer sizes.  I wonder if the ADSM sizes
are larger than the max for your operating system config?  You need to
look at your /usr/include/errno.h to see what 55 indicates for your
operating system.
