I don't know about the STK9710, but with a 3494 doing an AUDIT LIBRARY
library CHECKLABEL=BARCODE sure speeds things up. Using the default of
CHECKLABEL=YES means that the internal tape label is used, thereby
necessitating a volume mount for each volume in the library.
