Hi Craig,

the handling of your dbbackup tapes differs from the handling of storage
pool volumes. 
When you delete the dbb entries from your volume history, the status of
these tapes is immediately
changed to scratch and not to stgdelete since dbbackup tapes aren't handled
as storage pool volumes.
