Hi,

I did a bare metall from zero (No data on Harddisks) for Windows NT 4.0 
Workstation
with ADSM 3.1.06.

1. Setup a recovery partition (logical drive), install NT and Servicepac 3
(Important!)
2. Setup ADSM
3. Restore primary partionen.
4. copy Registry files
5. edit BOOT.INI according to your needs.
6. Boot restored partition continue to work and fell happy of having ADSM!

This all worked as designed and described in  the ADSM Manuals.
