Has anybody tried integrating ADSM with GRAU Library?

Below is a brief description on the requirement :-

Client : Novell (Compaq server)
Network : 100BaseT
Server : SUN - E3000 with ADSM staging disks
Robotics : GRAU model ABBA/E with 3490 drives
Requirement : To backup/restore data between Novell and GRAU

Our current solution  : Using ADSM on the SUN as server to
backup/restore disk-to-disk between Novell and Solaris through TCP/IP.
We're getting a thruput of about 9GB an hour.

And then, the complication begins ...

Issue : Has anybody done it before - how should be the implementation?
