As long as it is more than one client I get the same problem.
exp:
del file clienta * t=b
q pro running fine
del file clientb * t=b
q pro both clienta and clientb running
del file clientc * t=b
q pro clienta, clientb, and clientc running
wait 3 min
q pro clienta, clientb, and clientc stopped running
wait
q pro clienta running clientb and clientc gone
q act

That is were the deadlock comes into place. OS AIX 4.3.2 ADSM server
3.1.2.0

     Did you have multiple "delete file node somefilespace" running against
     the same client node at the same time ?  To clear all you may issue
     "delete file somenode *"

     In looking at things I would bet your PROCESS 9 & 10 were deleting
     different filespaces for the same client...

     No major damage !  Just reissue the delete filespace commands ONE AT A
     TIME or to clear ALL associated info with the client use the
        "delete file nodename *"
