I would guess the long elapsed time, which is probably what you're talking
about, is due to the deleted file processing going on after the data has
been backed up.  Your network transfer rate seems normal at 5 MB/sec and
you only spent 17 seconds on the network.

During deleted file processing, two lists are created: one of all the files
the adsm server thinks are on the client and the other from the actual
files on the client.  These are then compared and deleted files (files on
list 1but not on list 2) are marked as inactive.  Making and comparing
these lists can take time.  The number of files on this client does not
seem unusually large to me.  You should probably download from the ADSM web
page the performance and tuning white paper and follow the suggestions
there.  Looking at your buffpoolsize, I would say it could be larger if you
have more memory on the server.  You might also do an ad-hoc backup on this
client and watch the db cache hit rate by doing a q db f=d.  You should see
a hit rate greater than 99%.
