If you are running the server on a Unix box, you should be able to start the
server interactively by just typing in "dsmserv". Once the server is up,
your session is the console session and you can type in commands. Add
yourself as an administrator "register admin ...", halt the server, bring it
up normally and then log in as an administrator.
