Greetings ADSMer's,

We are currently backing up data to DLT4000 tape library with compression
off-this was the recommendation of IBM's technical representatives when the
ADSM server was first installed.  We have a need to reduce the number of
tapes we are currently using.  Can we turn the compression ON without
causing problems with Compressed and Uncompressed data together?  Do we have
to make off of our current volumes read-only and copy them over.   Any hints
would be extremely helpful.
