Hi Robert!
You have got two different problems here.
First of all, install the latest client version, version 3.1.06. You should
always install the most recent version before reporting a problem.
The first error you encounter has to do with an illegal character in the
file name. ADSM reports the illegal character with a question mark. Check
the filename Remark?Ehelp and look for the position of the question mark. If
it's an international character (like an umlaut or something like that)
specify the line USEUNICODEFILENAMES NO in your DSM.OPT file. If it's not a
character at all, the NT Explorer will show you a thick vertical bar. In
this case, contact your user and delete the file.
The second error you encounter (ANS4028E Error processing '\\WNTDISK\E$':
cannot create file/directory entry) looks like an authorization problem.
Check whether the account ADSM uses has full access authorization on the E:
root.
Kindest regards,
Eric van Loon
