More on this. in order to see where's the pb, i installed
a brand new nt wks fr sp1, installed ba client win32 3.1.06,
put some sp3 on that, configured the ba client,
run some "dmcutil install...", "dmcutil update",
"dmcutil start...", all this with lots of reboot.

 well, when the scheduler hits the incremental backup time,
mr watson pops up telling me that:

 L'application, , a giniri une erreur d'application L'erreur
 s'est produite le  1/ 8/1999 ` 20: 3:55.822 L'exception
 ginirie itait c0000005 ` l'adresse 44ff5000 (<nosymbols>)

DSMCSVC.exe crashed, and two services stop:

 ADSM Central Scheduler Service
 ADSM Remote Client Agent.

 ADSM Client Acceptor is still running.

 in the event log, i just have the following:

*Starting ADSM Client Service 'ADSM Remote Client Agent'
 built 12:14:02 Nov 18 1998.Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.6
*Started ADSM Client Service 'ADSM Remote Client Agent'.
*Restarting Scheduler, retry 1 of 3.
*ADSM Remote Client Agent halted.

 i'm stuck here...
