Mohamed,

Notes agent and Notes replication cannot perform at the same time. Both
applications need a lock called scanlock to lock the database to prevent
other application from changing the data during backup/replication. During
replication, the database is locked by the replication and the Notes agent
will fail and vice versa. You need to separate the time schedule to run
these two applications so that they will not interfere with each other.

Hi Everyone!
Since I installed Notes Agent on our Notes Server (NT4 platfrom), nothing
has gone right with this backup. It first took backup of all databases with
the exception of all the users mail databases, giving errors about the
database being replicated. Sometimes the backup just abruptly stops. The
same goes for manually taking backup: Notes agent fails to take backup of
open mail databases. Could anyone with experience on Notes Agent help? I
thought that Notes Agent is supposed to take backup also when the mail
databases are open.
