Are they actually backing it up (with selective) ? ? ?
     If so, try using "archive".
     Now you will still have mount time and forward space on tape time but
     I generally see only about 1 minute average "mount request until data
     transfer start" time.

Hello.

My customer is backing up the ORACLE archive log file with ADSM every 30
minute.
The device is 3590.
But If he want to restore the file, It takes about 20 minute to search
the location. download time is about 1-3 minute.
How Can I reduce this seek time?
How should I change configuration?
If you have any idea, please let me know.
