You can adjust the amount of memory the database cache will use.  From the
Utilities menu, select Server Options, click File/Open.  Then scroll over
and find DB Parameters and set the database buffer pool size up.  The
higher you set this, the more physical memory you will use.  Also, the
higher it is set, the longer it takes ADSM to actually start so be patient
with higher numbers while NT allocate memory for ADSM.

After you've changed this, close the file File/Close and stop and start the
ADSM Server service.

You can also edit the parameter in the DSMSERV.OPT file.

Another performance hint is to enter Control Panel/Networks and select the
Server service.  Click the optimize for network applications button and
reboot.
