No it does not since backint is an program that uses the API
interface
     and performs ADSM archiving not ADSM backup. And if it would do,
you
     should not set it since you would get an incomplete data backup.

     Do you do an online or offline backup? If you backup offline, are
you
     sure the database is down when backing up SAP?

Does the ADSM parameter to ignore files in use apply to backint?  If
so, have them make sure this option is set.
